The Traveller

I’m a traveller
I’ve been from sea to sea
I’ve crossed the mountains
I’ve seen the tops of the trees

I’ve flown in a airplane
I’ve been on bus and train
I’ve sailed on ships
I’ve roamed  in snow and rain

I can say we’re the same
We have the same hopes and dreams
There is no us and them
Yes I’m a traveller

I am a reader
I learn philosophy
I am a thinker
I question reality

I look for proof
I am skeptical
I need to know the truth
I have to decide for myself
 
I think we are all the same
We all want to know the truth
We all want to wake
I am a traveller

It’s not too late
We can save ourselves now
We can listen to science
We can listen to the wise
 
We can treat each other with kindness
We can love instead of hate
We can give all we have
We can travel to outer space
