These are the first two releases in a new series I’m calling Doyle’s Road Sessions.
These are raw, intimate recordings captured live straight into my iPhone during YouTube and TikTok sessions. They’re more like musical diary entries than fully produced tracks, but there’s a special kind of magic in their honesty and immediacy.
This is a collection of songs I wrote for Signal Hill called From the Rock.
Unfortunately, we never got the chance to complete the project, so I decided to release these recordings as they are. I hope to re-record some of them professionally one day. I still have another dozen or more songs in this style ready to go.
Hypothalamusic I & II is a collection of mostly heavier rock songs.
As a musician and songwriter, I’ve been on a personal journey of self-discovery, and these albums represent a significant part of that search. While I’ve always loved heavy music, I’ve come to realize I connect more deeply with folk-rock and acoustic styles — which is the direction I expect to continue exploring.
These records were written and recorded by me at home to the best of my ability. One day I hope to have them professionally mixed and mastered.
This is the only album released by The Tequila Rockingbirds before the lineup disbanded.
I produced and arranged the record, and did a lot of the songwriting, but every member contributed creatively. The legendary rock photographer Ross Halfin loved the album and went out of his way to try and secure us a deal with Atlantic Records.

These are the songs we wrote in the Death Star Architects.
This is an archival release. I converted my old band’s cassette to digital so people can listen to it online. I have an original DAT master somewhere. If it ever turns up, I may release it again with that format, but copying it from the cassette does preserve some of the original charm of listening to it the way we all heard it.

With Signal Hill, we released the songs Footloose and Band on the Run as live versions. I played lead guitar and sang harmony on both. With Jason Campbell, I also played lead guitar on three covers: Kashmir by Led Zeppelin, Golden Slumbers/Carry That Weight/The End by the Beatles, and Don’t Stop til’ You Get Enough by Michael Jackson
