Why is there a side to be on
A path that we must choose
Why is there a left and right
An opinion we must use
Why is there a fork in the road
One where we’re right or wrong
Why is there a country
That we must belong
Can’t we all be the same

Why do we divide
the human race
If we pretended everyone was white
Our fears would be erased
We all have families
And children we care about
Why do we have war
